I reckon we must have beaten every team in the current Premier League in one competition or another.

We must have beaten nearly every side in the 4 divisions haven't we?  Perhaps not MK Dons. There may be one or two others but not many.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I seem to have been told years ago we hold Man U s biggest aggregate defeat over a season , we beat them Xmas day and boxing day in the 30s each time by something like 4 clear goals ? Sure I will be corrected ?

We all know that its been a  good while since Town have had any notable success, unbelievably looking up to the Scunts for many years and now  seemingly the Gimps look like overtaking us as well, so i got to thinking exactly what  makes us  the bigger club than either of these two and in these fairly stale years, to celebrate some of our achievements over the past 30 years or so.
Of the the top of my head, without any research, we have beaten the following current Premier league clubs in league or cup games:
Liverpool (League cup holders)
Leicester City  (League cup holders)
Everton (twice)
Man City
Chelsea
Tottenham
West Ham
Burnley
Fulham
Huddersfield
Bournemouth
Wolves

We haven't beaten Manure or Arsenal and not sure on Cardiff, Southampton or Brighton (perhaps someone could enlighten me) but
a pretty impressive tally that few, if any other lower league clubs could equal.
Going a long way further back we finished 5th in the  top league,  FA cup semi finalists in which us and Wolves still hold the all time record Old Trafford attendance and have had many full internationals wear the famous black and white stripes.

I know the usual suspects on here will say all this is irrelevant and IT IS, buts its the measure of our club and why we are, always
have been and always will be the pride of Lincolnshire.  UTMM

Have to correct you there. We have played and beaten every team in the league. A proud record. In the thirties we played Man Utd twice in two days and smashed TEN goals passed them! The Daily Telegraph published a table of all Man U opponents and their record against them. We have the best record in the league against them.Mind you, we played them during their worst period in their history, but so what.

Fleetwood are the only team of the current 92 we've never played in a league game.
In my time watching Town I think the only other teams we have never beaten that we've played in league games are Burton and Maidstone.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.
