Podge is a Newport player so we should have found a way to nullify his antics. We didn't so thats down to our players not Podge. Would love him back in Black and White. In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD

MJ stresses the need for signings to be 'a good person' Perhaps we could balance it out with a few like Rees, Cunnington, Livvo and the guy who sorted Shearer?

For some reason, which I never understood, Hurst never seemed to have rated him that much - remember when we had Tomlinson on loan and so Podge got left on the bench? So nobody has the right to complain about a player who gave so much and not to use words like "cheat" especially when we wouldn't be back in the League if he's not converted that penalty at Braintree.
