Have you heard that on the grapevine or is it purely speculation?

Either way don’t think I’m surprised. Green in particular has always seemed in favour with DA, and think there probably has been improvement in his game over the last few matches. Would be interesting to see if there is any more room for improvement with him because you can’t knock the blokes work rate.

Ainley leaving then? I would have assumed he may have been offered a contract with Artell knowing him well from Crewe and also he spoke highly of him in interviews

To be fair I never asked about ainley so that could be the case. Looking at how the club did the right thing by scannell it wouldn’t surprise me at all plus he’s certainly the type of player we’ve been crying out for. So yeah I may have overlooked ainley when I said all others leaving but I don’t know either way.
