Until the introduction of the subs we were awful, however I think Ainley and Hume showed potential and Khouri looked promising and we played so much better. I would hope we can offer Hume a new contract and I think we have probably 6 or 7 players that we would want to hang on to and form the basis of the team for next season. UTM

No, I think he may be onto something.

I've heard a rumour from a bloke walking down the street who once spoke to someone who passed BP when the lights were on who knows someone who watched GTFC regularly in the 1950's whose grandson went to school with a kid whose dad knew Lawrie McMenemy...........SO IT MUST BE TRUE

Next week David Artell is going to play two unregistered players and we will be docked 12 points so we go down!

If I could sum up up today and the season in a sentence it’d probably be something like: some League Two teams had Hollywood, some had Harry Wood. Expecting something similar next year but maybe an upper bottom half finish.

I hope we are - the Crawley of this season , everyone's pick to be  fodder for beatings every week , look how that's turned out .

We always do better as an underdog , let's expect minimum and fight for the rest .

That was Artell's trajectory at Crewe - 18th , 15th , 12rh and then top 3 . I wonder if that would be acceptable here ?
