Oh balls. 5-4-1, our best centre back and only goalscorer both injured.

Come on Orsi. Do us a favour

No Obikwu in the squad. Look very light on forward options.

Let’s hope Swindon aren’t bothered because this looks like the weakest team we have put out for weeks.

Are they all injured?   I would never think I'd be wanting Obikwu so soon.  It's at times like this I wish I had an oxygen canister.

My guess is 4-5-1. A line-up with the aim of nicking a point. Fair enough, given the players available, I suppose. Good Lord, our squad is shite.

We need Wilson to get stuck into those inexperienced defenders. Might really unsettle them.

Now I really am worried - the once unlikely scenario of it all coming down to Crawly next week is now not looking so crackers. Fingers crossed - UTM.

Think he said he would still do the odd game if invited but could be wrong.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

We need to be getting at the youth teamer no.40 at CB for them. He looks shaky and you can tell it's his first ever start in the league.

My God we are excrement! Some half decent approach play but the final ball has been woeful. Fragile at the back, any good team would have had at least a couple of goals.

Total lack of quality from town and we have so few options to change things.

Dead Eye Dobbin stood motionless waiting, waiting, waiting for the ball to arrive. Back came the right foot, Down came the right foot, Bang ! Headlines around the world as the ball flew into the very top right hand corner of the goal.( Jim Dobbin scoring in the 89th minute for Town against Newcastle United away 24/10/1992 )

Tough watch.

Gav Green and Thompson doing okay. Dont know what formation we are playing

Wood is dreadful

I hope he's subbed.  His control is shocking.

That did make me smile

Gav & Green?! They’ve been absolutely shite IMO, not one of them has strung one decent pass together.

Wood even worse though, he looks shockingly bad.

Just looking at the real-time league table, changing every few minutes.

I noticed that in 45 games, Gillingham have only scored 44 goals, shipping 53, but amazingly they are still up in 9th position. Seems like they have the ability to defend a one-nil lead pretty well considering they have won 1 - 0 eleven times this season, including the first 4 games of the season.

Whether we stay up or not, the squad is terrible. With the exception of Rose, Thompson, Tharme and Vernam,

Huge rebuild required.

Would make sense, wouldn't it.  When I've seen Khouri play he's done OK.  Not  moved mountains but been pretty safe.

Lovely goal, class assist from Ainley and a very cool finish from Smith. What a difference having a midfielder on the pitch who can pass quickly and forward to a teammate makes!

Fair facking play to those 6 fingered folks down the road, some run they're on. Come from 2-0 down and now leading 3-2  , would not want to play them in the play offs

Fair play to Donny.  They were just above us when they played us. A fantastic run that.

Hats off to David Artell. He called it a while back that we were too good to go down lol.

I just wish it wasnt such an bottom-clenching experience

Not mathematically, 3 points behind Colchester.

My mistake. Sky were saying they were down but have now corrected themselves.

Let’s hope Donny thrash Colchester on Tuesday to make it interesting next Saturday.

20 points from last 14 games(since the donny disaster & reorganisation) - that form would put us in with a chance of the play offs.

It's a funny old game,

Poor stuff but two good finishes and tbf we did improve once the nerves had gone. So, welll done lads for getting the result we needed but won't be sad to see many/most of you not in a Town shirt next year.

Fair play to Sutton, they’ve had a hell of a run of form. Obviously I will go to my grave furious about that penalty though. Glad it didn’t affect us.

A good old 6-0 thumping, bringing the goal difference between Sutton and Colchester to 1 goal.

And breath

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

A positive, we looked so much better when the subs cam on. So we keep some, get some better replacements. Obvious I know, but I was impressed with Ainley, Andrews, Kouri and of course Thompson. Terrible season, but it’s always difficult when you’re struggling.
Gone home a lot happier and optimistic tonight.

Anyone know the gate today so I can pass it on to DB ?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Thank fook for that.

Another dreadful season in a long line of dreadful seasons is all over bar the shouting.

Glad we kept our status as a league club, but that was another year of draining "football".
