Not much chat about tonight's game.....

I work near London Bridge so will shclep down tonight and pay on the gate.

Its a bit of a ballache to get to from Grimsby - can't expect there will be that many there tonight??

Its my first game this season (shame on me) so will be, erm, interesting to see how we play compared to the Hurst teams.

I'd settle for a point tonight

Can you see the ‘Artell pre-Wimbledon’ thread mate? Plenty of talk about it in there. Clue is in the title 😉

A ballache from Grimsby? I'm coming from just outside Aylesbury and it's a nightmare to get to.

I live only a few miles away - though this being London, that's still a 30 min drive and a 20 min walk!   Its my first game for a while so hope I don't bring bad luck.  Looking forward to it.

Surely that is just drive to an Elizabeth line station and then Northern to Waterloo - then to Earlsfield?

I was going to drive from Blackheath in SE London to Wimbledon - then I realised this was a bloody stupid idea and would probably get there just in time for the Sutton game on Saturday.

to be fair at least Wimbledon is less-crap to get to than Bromley which is probably the most inaccessible ground in London (although Selhurst Park rates quite high on that list)

So tonight  - Town in South West London
On Saturday - south of London.
Could be a lot of travelling on the bus / plane?
Or could be staying for the duration in comfortable accommodation - in London area with training facilities  - hope it is this. If it is - think Town can be prepared enough to get at least a point at Sutton United.

Never been more convinced of a forthcoming loss. Think the players will be bolløcksed after Saturday & a long trip. Will try to keep it tight again but AFCW will have more quality and will get one, probably from an individual error. After that we’ll have to be a bit more attacking, will leave a few gaps at the back & we’ll concede a second, probably on around 60 mins.

Then it’ll be back to panic stations online ahead of Saturday, 1 swallow doesnt make a summer, papering over the cracks, all the hits.

Seen it in the tea leaves
