They do have a medical, just not as intense as those at the tops medicals clearly

I think in general the idea of players “failing” a medical is a bit of a misnomer. When a medical is undertaken it will either reveal new information or it won’t, and in the event that it does highlight something it’s simply up to the club to decide whether they want to take on the associated risk. There’s no defined framework for a pass or fail - it’s not a driving test.

You’d imagine most clubs at this level will have players undergo some form of medical, but for obvious reasons they aren’t going to be as thorough as those at the top level where tens of millions are changing hands.

Maybe it's like the medical I had in the UK for a work permit here.   Pulled down the skin under the eyes looked at 'em, listened to my chest with a stethoscope, did the old lolly stick in the mouth and then smacked my knees with a metal hammer (not good for Curtis apparently) - five mins and sixty quid in his back bin tax free.

Here we get bloods, eye checks, teeth, skin , ENT, Ultrasound, X-ray, ECG for the same price.

Said that people don’t pass/fail medicals.

It’s basically a percentage of risk.
