Think maybe with the possibility that he wants to break that partnership up of Rodgers and Maher and at least Tharme and Rodgers have played together? I assume Clifton will be out wide with an eye on Connor Wood bombing on from left back and to help Mullarkey out

Tough watch this. Don't really understand why Artell has picked a load of our more technically lacking players when he's trying to get us to play a possession based game. Interesting to see that apparently rugby tackling an opponent in the area doesn't warrant a penalty these days.

Think this game highlights why Conteh will be a huge miss. The only other midfielder who plays as a holding midfielder is Green and he’s a pretty poor footballer. This is particularly an issue if your manager wants to pass the ball through the thirds, Green is not capable of being the pivot.

You can't play the way Artell wants with the players he's selected today. Conteh, Hunt, Gnahoua and Khan could all do it (to an extent) because they're all relatively technically adept and have a decent first touch. Green, Clifton, Andrews, Rodgers, Mullarkey are all various shades of shite on the ball yet he's trying to get them to play like Man City in a side which leaks like a sieve at the back.

Because we are 20 years behind most teams in terms of the ground and the state it was left it . As I’ve said loads of times a good season for us now is mid table lg2 . A bad one is what we’re witnessing this season sadly

I am not lifelong mariner but I have seen us relegated a few times and it's hard to not think the spectre or relegation is starting to loom a little large unless something miraculous happens. There's that feeling of just... desperation for a run of actual positive results or to see some improvement but it just isn't coming.

Is there a player out there called Miracle because we need one right now. That was a dreadful performance in which we just didn’t have a clue how to break them down. Really disappointing.

I am sick to death of Grimsby Town...   Its taken 68 years to say that and this is the worse team and set up i have ever encounted. They just don't get it and know very little about running a football club. A football club should be football first and foremost and should be built on pure passion. The rest dosent matter.

With a clean sheet as well…not that he would have much influence on todays game.

4 goals conceded on our right last game, two goals from the left this time. Plug one hole and another appears. It’s all basics as well. Only plus is I thought Tharme looked very comfortable but a tweaked hammy could be a few games out.

I get that, but they also failed to beat Forest Green and Sutton? Short memory because we were awful in both them games. Whether we'd be better off sticking with them is conjecture, the players aren't good enough and that is a fact.

It's amazing how often you read people saying the game/team is the worst ever. Bad memories fade and the present always seems worse than it is. The Woods and Holloway teams have to be worse.

Its starting to feel like getting beat in  a game is just normal right now. Artell is not the man that will get us winning . Stupid playing out from the back  with 4 div players  and thats being kind to them. Replaces a center half with another that makes us play with a relagated pair at the back. we needed full backs  and a defencive midfielder to raplace the one we just lost. Either we have no money or he is blind. New owners that think nice eggs and glass pannels and a a expencive pint in a fanzone is more important than getting decent players in the door. If they thought they could run a football club without spending cash they should have stayed away.
