Hope PH gets the job. He's one of the good guys in football and was as classy as usual when he left us.

As I recall the Shrews club and fan base wasn't too pleased when Hurst quit them to join Ipswich. But there is no doubting that he did a pretty good job when he was there so I could see him going back.

Hope they go for Paul and Chris and wish them all the best if they do.

Issue seems to be, according to some of their fans, wether Paul can work with a Director of Football.

I must admit after watching All Town Aren’t We I suddenly realised how much I liked Hurst and everything about the way he went about things . The players let him down

I hope PH & CD go back there. Proper hard working good guys who deserve a decent job.

Hurst has already returned to one of his previous stamping grounds and had success, so another crack at saving the shrews from relegation would be pretty logical after that. Good luck to him, will always be a GTFC hero after 21/22 and 23/23.

Quick question.

Is PH still on the payroll? I only ask because I remember Swann saying he was still paying him when he took the job with us and wondered if it was a sort of gardening leave thing?

Peter O’Rourke reporting it looks like Hurst will be confirmed to Shrewsbury.

Good luck to the bloke it’s a great move for him - shame it didn’t work out here but he still deserves a massive amount of respect for what he did here in both spells.

Probably negotiated a lump sum payoff before he takes the Shrewsbury job. That's why Swann saw his bottom with Fenty.

This makes no sense. I know that’s not exactly new territory for you.

Why let people know you are gold starring them , if not in some way to make yourself feel good ?

I did it , it was me , it was me.

An altruistic version would be to gold star anonymously and leave it at that.
