I like that the club did not name/shame the person - hopefully this creates a more positive outcome for that person and changes their behaviour in the future.

Personally think that the punishment should have been wider considering the aggressive campaign of abuse that went on. A ban spanning 2-5 years for all football grounds seems apt considering people get huge bans for doing less than that. If they are young then maybe they'll learn a lesson that nothing they say or do online is ever anonymous and they will eventually be tracked down and punished. If I were them I'd consider myself a lucky boy and change for the better, but some people only get encouraged when treated softly.
