Thought Toby Mullarkey was outstanding for us last night, some silky skills that we have not seen before let's hope David Artell has found out how to get the best out of him, was like watching Cafu

Can't wait for Monday now, different challenge but think we will be up for it oh and may all you fishies have a very happy new year

Yes, capped off with a terrific goal that he just stroked into the bottom corner of the net.

The big question is , can he repeat the performance,  coz that was out of the blue  .ps kets not get too carried away, his crossing was his usual ineffective 1m off the ground stuff

Harsh to say out the blue, he had a very good start for us and hit bad form when everyone else did. Since Artell came in he’s been very consistent again.

His crossing needs work but i feel it’s far more noticeable because he tries to get crosses in constantly. He’s definitely an improvement on Efete.

Sadly a traffic cone is as useful as Efete he'd be the first player out the door for me along with Eastwood.

Artell seemed to credit the players for acknowledging the change in Salford formation after the break, and the opportunities that then afforded our full backs to push on.

He was probably one of our best players at MK and Oxford aswell. He's been very good since Dave has come in.

This might seem a bit controversial, but this is what we should’ve been expecting. Praise indeed for last night’s performance, but this perhaps seems more stark because his contributions were so telling, but my view is that this is what we should expect from all of our players. High standards. Course there’ll be dips and inconsistency but Mullarkey and others were overdue an outstanding performance. Well done. Lots to work on still, but let’s  plough on with high standards and expectations.
Tactically. Artell played that beautifully last night, especially once Salford went to a diamond. Absolutely capitalised with pushing full backs on.
