Think after the way the lads played on Saturday the least we can do as fans is get ourselves there and support them, i honestly think Saturday was a turning point in our season, you could see the confidence come rushing back on the pitch so to walk out this evening to a sparse home crowd is not an option, get yourselves there and be loud and proud UTM

I’ve been reliably informed that’s it’s pronounced “Sloff”. Can someone please confirm? I’m doing co-comms on Humberside later and don’t want to get it wrong.

The girlfriend is from 'Ull and she says it's definitely Slurr.

Would love to be there, but my son and his partner are currently in Harrogate hospital awaiting the birth of their first child, and my first grand child.
Due to shite phone signal in the ponny I'll be at home, listening on the radio, because I am in noway rusking missing the call from my son to tell me little legs has arrived.

Your grand child will be a Yorkie?

Well, you say that, but we don’t say Middlesbruff on Teesside do we. 😐

Happisburgh in Norfolk is pronounced Hazebre.

If Brough (near Hull) is Bruff, then Slough has to be Sluff

Pal, my son is born n bred in Beverley and still lives there, but he's a staunch gtfc fan..
Wanted to go to a live game when he was about 7, asked to see Hull at the Kcom and flat out refused, took him to BP instead, and as they say, the rest is history. He's 19, has the badge tattooed on his calf and has already bought little legs first baby grow, a mariners one!!.?
