Dull as dishwater. Play it side to side at the back. Move it forward a bit, lose it, opponents attack with pace and purpose. Dreadful defending as forward completely unmarked to tap in. Zero atmosphere. Wonder why? It's hard work being an England and Town fan these days! If this is modern football you can ram it.

Bit OTT but the monotonous build up, sideways and backward passing doesn’t actually get the blood racing.

He must have been watching a different game. England need to pass the ball a lot quicker and stop passing it sideways and backwards . Likewise in DCM with Phillips and Man City (apart from the own goal obvs)

Second half some great football and a proper center forwards goal for the third. In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD

Really adds to the frustration we couldn’t beat the fúckers in the 2020/21 final. We’ll never get a better chance than we had then. A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner.
