If Wilson and Maher are fit enough for the bench they should be starting at home

Yeah, surprised Maher can't force his way back in.

They have a giant forward though, so maybe Waterfall preferred because of that.

Don't think Wilson is quite ready for a full 90 yet.

Not a lot of creativity in there but sometimes it just clicks. Important game this for both players and manager.

If Wilson isn't able to give 90 minutes, am happy with him coming on as a super sub and banging in a goal!

We do look better at the back with Maher! in the team but I suspect Waterfall is on high to hight of there striker!

I want to see a performance with a win today. I've seen good performances and loses, I've also seen poor performances and wins. I am hoping today we can have the best of both worlds. I will wait until after the game before I question the formation etc

Well, that's 45 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Scrappy, clueless, aimless football ! What is most frustrating is that Accrington are total crap but you just know that they will get one chance, and take it !

Our passing is woeful, final ball, crossing and set piece delivery is appalling, what do these guys do all week in training ?

I think we can safely say that we will never be in the running for the league's top scorer's !

We really are quite poor. Fortunately Accy are slightly poorer. They've arguably had the better chances and probably should have scored at least once.

This is really dire football. Clifton cannot play in central midfield, he has no quality on the ball and has a miserable pass completion rate of 50% after that first half. We may as well not even select a midfield because aside from Conteh they've just been bypassed by constant hoofs down the other end of the pitch. Really turgid stuff.

Absolutely mad how he's treated compared to Clifton who literally gives the ball away for fun and looks like a confused Sunday League player this season, yet he still seems to start every week. Really don't understand what Hurst is trying to do with this team.

There is absolutely nothing there. The players just going through the motions. No urgency whatsoever, let alone any actual skill or teamwork.

They are just as bad luckily.

We’re trying to play possession football without the brains or ability on the ball to do it. If Clifton has made one successful pass today I’d be surprised, absolutely atrocious with the ball.

If Conteh (who has been a bit better again) or the defence get the ball in the middle third, the midfielders just run forward aimlessly giving us a flat front five and about 20-30 yards between them and the ball. No movement, nobody coming short, no link up play. It is awful. It must be the easiest thing to defend against the opposition will get all season. You can see Conteh becoming visibly frustrated with the lack of options and movement. Rose is trying hard and winning lots but this is really dire stuff.

And why do we go backwards to the keeper so often from attacking positions?! Sometimes just turn and put it straight into a dangerous area whilst the opposition are out of shape. This is clearly an instruction from the management team to play it safe because Stanley haven’t done it the few times they venture forward. Unbelievably boring stuff and I’m fast getting to the point where I can’t be bothered any more.

Amos has been one of town's better players and our best passages of play came from him spraying the ball out wide and hitting players in stride so they could actually attempt to beat their man. Calling him very poor when we've not conceded and looked mostly ok at the back is ridiculous.

Think if Harry wasn't a local lad or that he can play in 5 different positions he would of been getting absolute pelters this season. Needs to up his game massively.

This is like anti football. Honestly don’t know what’s happening. If we hit our own player with a pass it looks like it’s by accident.

Rose isolated yet again and Wilson on the bench instead of starting and giving his best for 60 minutes..

Deathly dull from town, safety first again every time we have the option of trying a cross or pass it's back to CD or keeper to hoof it up instead. Stanley are really poor as well tho.

Yes he’s hit a couple of good cross field balls but he’s also wasted it with the usual clip down the line to space rather than a player - a very dull and predictable Hurst tactic.

He was also incredibly lucky when their guy headed over. Watch the reply and the forward is stood goalside of Amos before the cross even comes in and Amos just watches him before finally putting him under pressure from the wrong side. Awful defending.

We need to change to 4231... we always lose possession or hit it long once Conteh has received it and passed it back. If you're playing 1 upfront and 2 wide you need 2 pivots infront of the back 4 to create angels for people to pass short instead of Conteh trying to do both sides of the pitches pivot which doesn't work.
