Believe it's at the players and clubs request, due to it being a nothing game for AFCON qualifiers as they can't qualify. A couple of the other big players aren't called up, believe we will lose him in November however as they start WC quals.

Yeah, the lack of direct flights to West Africa makes it one hell of a schlepp. You’re talking ~15 hours end-to-end. Not sure I could be ársed for a friendly match.
