I am well happy  with annoucement to watch Town on Sky in my own armchair as its a drive and a half to either Grimsby or Bradford( FYI a hotspot for Norwegian /Scandanian Indian Cuisine lovers as i found out a few years ago).

Sorry I went off a tangent  from subject .
Yes glad to see our team featured on telly and get a slot away from the usual premier league suspects. As an Exile i have to pick/plan my games for me Swindon away will be my first.
BUT PLEASE not that grinding  voice of  Jamie Carragher commentating or pundit!!
Enjoy the Match those that go.
UTM 2023--24.

I've run the numbers and reckon there's more chance of me being on co-comms than Jamie Carragher!

I don't really get that tbh, if people are on the fence financially (which is obviously a valid reason for not going) then they've already got the option of watching it on MarinersTV and the match was already kicking off at 1pm so it's only moved 30 mins. Are people saying they're not going now because they want Sam Parkin's punditry and an extra tenner in their back pocket?

Yeah I thought that. Not as bad for me in WY as it’s an hour or so away, but much longer day if you’re leaving GY station at half 6/7 in the morning and not getting back until 6 that night at the earliest.

Plus it’s not exactly a particularly welcoming trip with WYP throwing their weight about.

Still, couple of wins in the run up and we might see a bit more interest.

I'll pay an extra tenner to not have Sam Parkin's punditry if it's an option please?

Yeah the switch to 1pm had already made it a bit of a pain, definitely not denying that.

The policing seems to have one again kicked in another gear all over the shop. Walsall not being allowed to drink anywhere in Wrexham the other week is one of the most ridiculous things I've read about in terms of football policing.

Apparently, a load of their fans caused a lot of bother at the first pub in England thay stopped at.

I think it was at Walsall that Town fans nearly demolished a pub before a game that I was in at the time.

I knew something was amiss when a beer glass went flying across the room closely followed by a chair.

The Bradford ticketing portal is still saying a 13:00 kick off, rather than 12:30. It even says 13:00 on the ticket confirmation.

It’s definitely 12:30.

They’ll be a few angry Bratfordians alhambraing their way into the ground after kick off.

C’mon Town.

As of yesterday 1100 tickets sold and now going on general sale.

TV and the early kick off has clearly had an impact on sales.

Cash flow leading up to Christmas too. Sounds daft but cost of living will mean people start saving earlier, and with it being on TV was always likely to put plenty off.

I hope they just put us all behind the goal…
