Sorry if something like this has already been done, but it's always interesting to look back on during the course of the season.
So league 2: Top 3 (Any order), Towns Position, Bottom 2, Top scorer (Town & Overall), Surprise package.
Top 3 - Notts County / Stockport / Gillingham Towns position - 9th, solid season, but not quiet enough for play-offs Bottom 2 - Crawley & Morecambe Top Scorer League 2 - Cook, Last big season for him i feel Town top scorer - Rose Surprise package - Walsall , I think resigning Johnson is a big boost for them.

Anyone with any knowledge seems to be predicting us top 7 which is worrying . Bradford top 3 as their fans seem to think they will really do badly and not walk the league for once Town 10th Walsall do well as dark horses Swindon suprise strugglers Crawley bottom I reckon

I reckon
I've not gone for top 7, simply because i see too many teams that already had better squads than us, have also improved. I think we will miss out this year, which wouldn't be a failure.

I actually think it would be classed as failure, rightly or wrongly.
1878 continually talk about continual improvement. A mid-table finish (12th was it?) and an FA Cup Quarter-Final is a pretty high bar to start with for your first season back, especially when you consider the lack of a pre-season we had.
The expectation will be there that we kick on for the top 7, especially considering it appears to be quite obvious that Hurst has been given a war chest.

I’m almost certain that the expectation internally will be top 7, and Hurst looks as comfortable and relaxed as I can remember during a pre-season. I think he’s pretty confident with what we’ve got and may still add. I try to be as objective as possible, but I would say that going on business done so far in the division we look to be the most improved side, and our new additions must surely be top 3 in terms of the overall level of quality added versus others. That said, there’s no denying that we started the summer with a lower base than at least 9 or 10 others, so it will be interesting to see how far that takes us. It’s a strong league next season, but Paul Hurst is the longest-serving manager amongst all of the likely runners and riders (only Harrogate, Accrington and Sutton have longer-serving gaffers), and I think that continuity counts for something. Where we find ourselves right now is the product of a long-term plan. I’d add to that, that PH teams tend to be greater than the sum of their parts - never in greater evidence than the play-offs last year. I doubt anyone would argue that the component parts we have right now represent comfortably the best GTFC squad we have ever had under Hurst’s stewardship, and I think that in itself is cause for enthusiasm and excitement. I don’t blame outsiders for having the likes of Stockport, Norte County, Wrexham, Bradford et al way ahead of us at this stage - the reasons why aren’t hard to ascertain. But we will surprise a lot of people next season; I am absolutely certain of that. I couldn’t be more confident of a top 7 finish (having predicted 10th for two seasons running). I think it would be silly to think beyond that at this stage, but nothing in the positive sense would surprise me. I can’t wait.

Top 3 - Stockport, Notts County, MK Dons.
Town - 5th I’ve gone for. I think we have a blend of absolutely everything.
Bottom 2 - Newport and Crawley
Top Scorer - Madden (Stockport)
Top Scorer town - Danny Rose
Surprise package - Sutton, think they’ve recruited very smartly this summer.

Top 3 - Stockport / Bradford / Gillingham Towns position - 8th - Think we'll dip in and out all season with a final finish just outside but with everything to believe we'll make it the following season. Bottom 2 - Crawley / Harrogate Top Scorer League 2 - Langstaff Town top scorer - Pyke Surprise package - Wimbledon (lucky dip in the guess bucket)

Top 3 : Stockport, Notts County, Town Bottom 2: Crawley, Newport Top Scorer: Armstrong (Harrogate) Town Top Scorer: Hunt - odd choice at first glance, but if he's starting every game and first up for set pieces he'll get more opportunities to score than anyone else (in my head) Surprise Package: Sutton
