Yeah, having previously thought and stated that I thought they could do ok in a weakened division, this signing is a bit bizarre to say the least and definitely makes me doubt that assessment.

They've brought Max Watters in permanently from Cardiff  Could be a decent bit of business, capable at that level but just really struggled to do anything at the level above.  

I think it'll be one of the semi-finalists, Peterborough, who struggle this year.

There were a few of them from that Solihull side that caught my eye that day(Joe Sbarra)  Dallas being one of them I remember.

He's okay but watching a few of those Chesterfield games near the end of the season he did not look a league 1 player for me but time will tell .

If its true Barnsley are after Clifton he would be better off staying with us in mu opinion.

Ryan Barnett, their best player on the day for me, is now at Wrexham playing at RWB and doing really well by all accounts. Was someone I was hoping we'd have tried to bring in last summer.

Quite widely reported we tried to sign him in the summer of 2021 but Solihull offered more money.
