Congratulations to Carlos Alcaraz and commiserations to Ons Jabeur. Both had a lot of pressure on them respectively. Nice to see Carlos proving all the doubters wrong and beating Novak Djokovic which all players past and present  interviewed on the BBC thought he wouldn't do. Likewise a great final . Had Novak won he would of equalled Margaret Courts record of  winning 24 grand slam finals(as some who follow tennis will know).   As for Ons gutted for her as I  really wanted her to win her first major open at the third time of asking and would of been nice to see an African woman win it for the first time and help inspire  females more within the Muslim community to take up the game of tennis  .Especially more poignant I feel where there is still suppression of women's rights in parts of the Arab world.

One life,one love .
