Same here I can not get to any games home or away because of failing health problems.

So buy things on line from the club shop and donate like this.

The club have actively been advertising for player sponsors with each signing, so all the newest signings may already have been snapped up.

Previous seasons we have had plenty of time to raise enough sponsorship BEFORE any signings have been made, but Hursty is on the ball this time round

I’ll chip in.  
And my thoughts are that we should sponsor one of the lesser names.  
We are not a company doing this to look good. We are supporting the club.

So nobody sponsors any players that aren’t  marquee signings then.??

My bad. I didn’t realise we would be doing it for recognition.  I naively assumed we were just supporting our club.

On the usual amount we raise annually, we could easily sponsor the whole Academy team at £30+vat for each player

okay, looks like we have the interest to run this again.

I will open this up again officially tomorrow and I will email the club to see who is left available to sponsor,

We sponsored Niall Maher last season, so I assume he'll be held for us to sponsor again.

As an aside, I do have the shirt from last season, which is signed by the whole squad, and I will be putting that on Ebay in the next few days.

Literally what I was looking at and thought how cool would that be. The fishy sponsor the whole academy!

Not everyone can pay £30 though but if we get close to last years total then it'd be alot of players.

No, each Academy player costs £30+vat to sponsor. I wasnt suggesting everyone gave £30 towards the kitty.

Last year we raised enough to sponsor one first team player and had money left over. If we raised £1000 (plus the leftovers of last season we would have enough to sponsor the whole of the Academy players at @£36 a pop
