He'd also drive standards up regardless of his impact on the pitch, I do wonder if we'd allow him to take on press duties though hahaha

I’d say whoever does sign him, will be certain to score goals should he stay fit. 37 and played 45 games last season. That speaks volumes about his professionalism and desire/commitment to the club he’s played for. I’d say even if we were in for him, there’s going to be offers from Bradford, Donny and Harrogate or even someone like Barnsley, rovrum or notts county may take a punt on him. He won’t be short of offers that’s for sure

Player/coach would be the best option. We have several defensive coaches but none for up front. It could get him into his coaching badges too.
