To be fair that was ok, lads had a go and it was good to see that we didn’t just play it into a hold up man all the time.

Khouri, Glennon and Smith all young lads that had good games. In fact I don’t think anyone had a bad game. Pleased Orsi get a well deserved goal and we saw tonight a bit more of the player Hunt will be next season. Once again Hurst puts a young lad in Braithwate on with a game at 1 - 0 which shows good trust.

Stevenage Saturday, what did Keegan say? “I would love it”…..

One of the more enjoyable games I've seen. Helps when we try to get it down and play which all our midfielders did. Yes it didn't always come off but it was enjoyable to see. Could have been alot more. Khouri motm for me. I will give Khan a mention, usually a critic of him. His 1st touch was brilliant today

Makes a big difference to our play when we keep the ball down and pass to feet, opened up the Crewe defence much easier than if we had just played head tennis in the middle of the pitch. Encouraging signs for next season. UTM

Dead Eye Dobbin stood motionless waiting, waiting, waiting for the ball to arrive. Back came the right foot, Down came the right foot, Bang ! Headlines around the world as the ball flew into the very top right hand corner of the goal.( Jim Dobbin scoring in the 89th minute for Town against Newcastle United away 24/10/1992 )

Good win, Khouri, Clifton decent games, worked really hard. No one played badly. Has Orsi got as many goals as Taylor in about a third of the game and probably more touches and succesful passes, he seems to know where the net is. Still want to see Orsi and George start together.

That 11 tonight would realistically only need 2-3 v
Good additions (at the most - in my opinion) to become a side that'll be in and around the play offs. Especially if we play to our strengths like they did tonight.

9-0 aggregate score against Crewe this season. They can come again.

They've been a bit of a bogey team in the past...they won at BP 3-2 in 71/72 championship even though they were bottom. They were bottom of the table when they beat us 1-0 near the end of the second Buckley promotion season - nearly fecked it up for us, we wouldn't have had to beat Exeter in the final game but for that.

Decent game all told, agree that Khouri, Clifton and Hunt all had good games. Orsi fed off scraps and did well to keep going and got his just deserts.

Most of them short no risk passes to teammates,  And no, I won't give it a rest, I am allowed to post my opinions on here the same as you are.

Obviously a professional football manager knows better than you, that's why he signed him on a three year contract and plays him.

4-0, 3-0, now 2-0. Almost expecting someone to suggest we’re going backwards.

Didn't they spank us 4-0 at BP in the not too distant past?

Have to say that Crewe were just about the perfect opponent and didn't really get in our faces, forcing us to hit hurried long passes. I reckon PH knew they would be the right team to try some of the more fringe players against and he wasn't too worried about having much height in the side, enabling us to play Khouri, Hunt and Khan together.

Not sure that side would have done as well against a Harrogate or Colchester type team, but when we come up against a side that want to play footy, we are a decent outfit.

I presume Mikey O’Neill dazzled in his 6 min cameo tonight chaps?

Once again, he never really got into the game, but we were in save what we have mode by then, and weren't really pushing forward too hard.

I'd like to see a bit more of him now we have nothing much to play for, but I suspect Hurst wants to keep pushing for points and get us our highest finish since 2006, which probably means he won't get a start or any significant minutes on the pitch.
