I just watched this. Absolute basic goalkeeping error by Max. He would have done better early on in the season.

Basic error first by whoever job it was to mark the thrower (probably gallacher) after he'd taken the throw.

Very harsh. The shot was from 8 yards out at a decent pace very low down to his left. Would have been an exceptional stop to have kept it out from that close. Maybe he could could have kept it out, but it was absolutely not a ‘basic’ goalkeeping error imo

Awful defending for the throw in....awful defending on the cross....awful penalty...but looked like enough good opportunities to go on and win.

Clifton left with two from the throw is basic stuff. Then weak as urine from Gallacher and Crocombe should have done better too. I do think fatigue is probably an issue now. They must all be desperate for a proper break, especially all those involved in last season's play off heroics.

We had plenty of time to set up for the throw, it’s a basic 2 v 1, kids stuff. Gallagher’s barely played so he’s not fatigued, that was just urine poor defending and weakness, and Max will be disappointed with that save.

You can see Clifton pointing for someone to mark the thrower, the scorer gets the ball down and gets a shot off despite being marked, and it's the keepers fault??
Wonder how many blaming Max have ever played in goal.

Yeah, chronically bad defensively at that throw.

This.
Highlights also showed the essence of why Efete is so frustrating…..gets into a great attacking position on the right, with players in the box to pick out, and he tamely flops it straight into the keeper’s arms. Must do much better!

The goal lays at poor defending by Gallagher not Max.

Gallacher clearly misses the ball trying to head it away down low which puts him behind the man with a free shot on goal. The shot was down low and the player is closer than the penalty spot so that's like trying to save a penalty but harder, not so simple. The fact is the player should never have been able to get in that position in the first place.

Some people have to act like a goalkeeping expert, somebody was a goalkeeper for their school team or a failed apprentice for GTFC in the 1960's that played in goal so they feel the need to be critical of every single keeper ever. A lot of goals we let in are like this, players walk through our defence too easily when they should know better by now.

Just looked at it again and realise I have mistaken Morris for Gallagher. Gallagher was actually in the box and was the one beaten by their goalscorer.

It was Morris that eventually went over to belatedly challenge their thrower who got the cross in. After the goal goes in efete has a go at Morris (presumably for not making the challenge), clifton has a go at efete (presumably for being the one that should have done it as RB).

Nobody took responsibility. Nobody Sharp enough to see it was a free cross if it was t done. Might have wanted Efete’s superior height in the box and Morris could’ve gone. Looks like a job for the RB for me, but as it was, you had Morris standing in the box doing nothing at all. Just really sloppy.

Second week running we have conceded from a throw in at the same spot on the pitch.

It's a collective error for me, with many mistakes leading to the goal, but we still managed to get back into the game, albeit with yet another home draw.

We haven't lost loads of games at home, but have drawn far too many.

I wasn't there, but the consensus from my group is that it wasn't a great game and a draw was fair. They were better first half and we were better second half.

Think the last player to score a league penalty for us was Barry Conlon.

Are you forgetting about Mitch Rose. Possibly the best penalty taker we'd had for a long time!

The fact I had to try and work out in my head whether that was true or not tells it’s own story.
