If we ever needed proof that West Yorkshire Police, FC Halifax and/or the Calderdale Council Safety Advisory Group that advises on allocations at Halifax have got it in for us then look no further than the Wrexham allocation for their match on Good Friday.

Wrexham will be taking over 4000 to a match that last season saw a 15 year old Wrexham fan hospitalised with a broken jaw after being set upon by a load of Halifax fans.

Now obviously, that's the home fans acting up but nevertheless it's a match that a fairly shocking incident of violence occured at. Yet Wrexham have been allowed to fill their boots whereas our allocation was slashed last season to about a third of what we realistically could have sold. Of course, that was by the by ultimately as the match was postponed however I'd love to know what is actually discussed in these meetings when these decisions are made. I emailed Halifax and the council last season when our allocation was slashed, didn't hear back from the club and the response from Calderdale was very generic.

Anyway, more of a rant/something to bring to your attention rather than a discussion starter as I don't really know what anyone else can add.

Not sure if we are still on the sh1t list, but we had a large amount of fans on banning orders and I think we were classed as a category C club by the police, which may explain why we still get restrictions imposed on our fans.

Not sure if this is still the case, or if it was justified, but can remember an article in the Telegraph when our very own Nick Dale was not very complimentary about our fans.

Probably didn't help that he was in charge when the Port Vale fans were allowed to leave the Osmond stand toward the Findus and cause mayhem, but he didn't mention that for some reason.

It's ages since our fans caused significant trouble isn't it, if you don't count police forces fabricating stories about pubs being smashed up by us.

The bigger crowds we took to the cup games were really well behaved like most of our fans all season.

So we must have got some brownie points this season.

The 90% (?) of our fans were looking for trouble statement that was quickly retracted a couple of days later to "a small minority" ...    class 1 d1ckhead.

Ahhh, Nick Dale, another useless girl private, sycophant who had a job because he either, a) knew something about Fenty or b) he was cheap and didn’t argue back.

Bloke caused more issues and cost the club significant amounts of money because of his incompetence.

You have to take a look at who is making these statements sometimes , Dale and the Football ‘ Intelligence’ copper make their livings from the potential of trouble at football games , it’s in their interest to say there’s a threat.
