Teemu Pukki is leaving Norwich at the end of the season. He wants to continue playing. Although he is 33 has an eye for goal and at this level could be a good foil for Lloyd, if we can sign him, or another Taylor esk type of player. Give him a years contract could give us  few extra goals we need. Or have him and Taylor upfront combined age of 66, bring out the Zimmer frames.

Nah, not for me.

I'd prefer to see Orsi or young Essel get a chance...

Is this the same Teemu Pukki who has been earning about £40k a week at Norwich for the last 5 years?

He’d sooner be setting up as a used car salesman before signing for Town. I can see it now; “Teemu Pukki’s Used Sazuki’s”. Nice ring to it, that.

Better ideal would be to ask him if he would like to invest £40m in the club and build a new stadium. We could offer to name one of the restaurants Pukki’s.

Not a cat in hell's chance he'd sign for us. Probably find another Championship club or end up playing in The Scottish Premiership.

I just don't think Orsi is good enough, as for Essel, I have only seen him a couple of times but he did have an eye for goal, so surprised he hasn't been given a similar chance to Khouri who I'm not sure if he is good enough.

Maybe we should go for Harry Smith....

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

The homesickness thing would be a concern for me with Smith.

I'll throw another out of contract name into the mix though...Courtney Baker-Richardson at Crewe. Big, strong, mobile, good touch, can finish. 8 goals in 21 starts this season in L2.

It was said in complete jest.

It just hasn't worked for Orsi here, for whatever reasons.  We can argue he hasn't had a fair chance but Hurst sees him day-in-day-out and has used him sparingly.  If we want to go from a midtable side to a promotion challenging side then we need a considerable upgrade.  Teemu Pukki is probably slightly out of our reach though.

Lots of places he could go and earn big money still. He's only 33, probably got another 3 year deal in him at a big Championship side or team in Europe before being 36 and taking one last big payday to play in Turkey or China lol. I guess Saudi Arabia and Qatar are the new big money retirement leagues these days so more options for when he's 36.
