You're right it was but rewatch it. It's unnecessary. The player is half way between Maher and Crocombe before he even passes it. He had time to either control it and look up, move forward with it or pass to Amos... anyway, I don't want to moan too much as it was overall a very good team performance. Utfm

Maher (who played very well) didn't need to pass it back. Sheer madness for Crocombe to try and half-volley that clear when he could just have taken a touch then passed it out wide.

If we're going to make silly mistakes, let's make them in games which we win.

Some good play from us today but we should have put the game to bed long before the end of the game.

Ye he could have played it to others but he didn't, our keeper is still one of our players, he made the intercourse up.


In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Crocombe is one of eleven players and at that point was the easiest to play the ball  to.
I bet if you ask Crocombe he will say it was his fault.
