Last week v Yeovil - 6354 home fans

Today v Notts County - 6126 home fans.

Home sell out?

Gets more confusing by the week.

I noticed club didn’t announce updates of ticket sales this week, just more general terms such as “selling fast” and “nearly gone” etc. But they did then announce it was a home sell out. Yet 200-300 less than last week.

County not selling out their 1800 allocation, nowhere near infact, pretty poor. Excepted better.

Can’t remember exact number, but Humberside said something like 1826 Notts County, and over 7000 in total

It's not very confusing, you just seem to have ignored that we had a few hundred home fans in the Osmond last weekend and the Yeovil away following could have all come on the same bus.

Shame the 800 tickets not sold by county werent
Made available then. Sure, would have needed police segregation in the Osmond no doubt but tickets weren’t a available on the day for away fans so surely they knew figure sold Friday and had time to release more tickets this morning?

800 x £22 - £17,600

Never mind

Admittedly I forgot we had fans in the Osmond last week so that will alter the numbers!

But don’t recall club announcing Yeovil game
As a home sell out. Hence why I was expecting today’s figure to be higher.

I believe the Osmond holds just over 1800, Notts brought just under 1100, so there's 800 or so, added to the gate, taking  the number of seats to 8,000 ish.

They didn't announce it as a sell out because it wasn't a sell out. The club made 900 seats available to Town fans in the Osmond and about 400 seats renained for home fans to buy in the Osmond.

Unfortunately, with the vast minority of so called 'fans' on both sides intent on causing trouble these days I quite understand that with 1000+ Notts supporters in the Osmond it was logical to restrict that end to the away ticket holders only. Simples.

What does puzzle me is that the capacity at BP is officially given as 9000+.
Over the last 20+ years or so I have never seen an attendance above 7000+ - even given 'sell crowds' against Lincoln & Scunthorpe.

What does our Safety Certificate give as our capacity?

£17,600 profit , minus an astronomical Bill for police segregation.......We would of probably lost money 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have a thought that the 9000 capacity might include those green seats we had in the corners a few years ago? I might be wrong, but it doesn't look logical that we can have a sellout, 1000 away fans and sit at 7000 odd.

The capacity is definitely not 9000+ anymore. I thought it was about 8.5k nowadays

Plus we lose 140 ish seats behind the dugouts which have to be kept empty for covid rules so they are removed from capacity.

We about 1k short of actual capacity I would have thought today, by far most of which was in the osmond obviously.

As far as I've known/thought, the capacity has been 8700 for many years now.

I thought this in midweek... But then at the game i looked at the osmond at kick off and accepted that there's no way we could have done it safely.
