I'm more than happy with all the YouTube stuff we are getting for free this season.

Saved me the £45 I used to pay for iFollow.

The cost of running it would be unbearable to a club of our size. Have you noticed that the clubs who have one are the 'big' clubs?
They get money back from subscriptions all over the world, we could never get that level of return.

The YouTube channel is made up of edited highlights of our video of home games with footage borrowed from away games and a bloke with a hand held camera doing interviews and adding extra shots at games. It is very much a low budget effort.

With bloody fantastic output but a tiny fraction of what MUTV or LiverpoolTV costs to run.

Subscribing to iFollow cost about 45 quid per year. I recall that we got around 1000 viewers per (away) game - that's an income of 45k per season. It would have increased a bit this year with the feelgood factor etc etc but even if it doubled to 90k a year you could not produce a Sky standard TV channel.

The Matchday moments, training day clips and interviews are pretty great.

Hopefully we get promoted so we can have our iFollow back though for the live games via VPN...

I like the personal feel of the videos that the clubs is producing at the moment.  It's great but not too polished.
