Reckon the Bapaga in the starting is meant to be McAtee.

Twitter now shows McAtee on the bench. Maybe not fully fit or Hurst wants to rest him. You can understand the decision I think. McAtee has expended huge amounts of energy in the first 5 games and has played almost every minute of every game.

Looks like some natural squad rotation, wonder if Max Wright was dropped for LJL on the bench or he's injured again.

More importantly I am in my seat in the Pontoon wearing my lucky socks and pants, having had a pre match meal at usual lucky pub, followed by parking near the ground and a walk to the pier and back, followed by a lucky shake from McD's. What can go wrong?

I thought McAtee was a little below par the other night so probably a well-deserved rest. Would be nice to be able to bring him on for 20 minutes or so at the end with the game already safe!

I note Hurst's favorite boy LJL is back in contention I wonder who will have to make way from what was a superb line up to let him in.Afraid this would happen.

Couldn't make the game due to a work commitment so will have to settle for listening to the radio but I did wear the red 3rd kit shirt today under my work clothes. We won every game where I wore the red shirt, it was in the wash when we faced Stockport so I wore a home shirt I have from a couple seasons ago and we drew that one. I'm not going to mess with a lucky streak. It also helps it's a really nice shirt.

I get the arithmetic.

It's the idea that PH is prone to picking favourites - you don't get a team spirit like ours with a manager like that.

The other implication - that LJL wouldn't be picked except for favouritism - is laughable.
A fully fit LJL would be a huge asset to any side in this league - including us.

Great towering header unchallenged for Efete. It's been hard for us to get going a bit today, Eastleigh frustrating us, and forcing us to pass it back and try again. Eastleigh not really done much to trouble us, though they did appeal for a penalty.
Oh and I like the "your a shi*t Jack Grealish" chant aimed at their midfielder!!

If either we score another, or Daggers let another one in, then we could be 2nd in the table.

The guy on BT sport just said we haven't started a season 6 unbeaten for 31 years. Great joy.
Mrs Buckstown then said "Eastleigh?? Are they a proper team?" Very harsh

Yet another solid win and good to get a clean sheet, defence sounded really solid today and we have a bunch of players scoring and creating chances. We've dealt with all thrown at us so far, don't know if Maidenhead will be ready to face this team or the invasion of away fans.

I don’t know about goal difference but I reckon 90 points won’t be enough for the title this season , the way the top 4 are playing there’s a massive gap between those clubs and the rest I reckon

Bloody hard league to win promotion from. The likes of stockport and southend with points to make up. Glad we've had a good start

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

I'm not that sort of person - life's better when you have happy people around you. I felt you  were looking for a negative...which is very understandable
for any longtime Town fan.

I should have phrased it less judgementally. Enjoy the evening.

I'm glad he was there to see what can be achieved when things are done right.

It doesn't take football fortune, it takes making the right decisions and treating the fans the right way.

Today would have shown him what he could have had.

I'm glad he was there to see what can be achieved when things are done right.

It doesn't take football fortune, it takes making the right decisions and treating the fans the right way.

Today would have shown him what he could have had.

I voted for Boris, and Fenty isn’t on the same level, not even close. This isn’t a political forum.

So much positivity about our club at the moment but being a long term Town fan I know how fast it can all change. I so want to believe that this could be our season but I’m so scared of being disappointed again.

Boris is doing about as good a job with running the country as Fenty did with running Town.

A bit disjointed today but we’ve been spoilt so far this season…

Two great goals. Warm in NE Lincs in mid September, 3 points and 6000 home fans. Loved it.

Didn’t hear any children swearing though so that spoiled it a little

It’s amazing how willingly people will demonstrate that they have no idea what socialism, communism and Marxism are and the differences between them.

Socialism?  National Socialist shortened to Nazi. 1/2 Nazi?
Communism? Overthrew a democracy that had overthrown the Tzar, then shot them in a cellar, and trumpeted to the world what fine fellows they were ?
Marxism? The theory put into practice that gives Venezuala 1 million % inflation, makes Cubans get into leaky boats to escape to the USA, and East Europeans come over by the million to pick spuds in the UK as their economies are still blighted by the very rubbish system you hanker for.

Will that do?

Well, you are quite right, however, I didn't see you complain about earlier comments. A kind of choosey " eff all" is it?

Perhaps we all should keep to football, and keep politics for other forums eh?

If you equate Nazism with socialism you clearly know nothing. The ‘socialist’ in NSDAP was just a meaningless word by the time Hitler led the party. They purged the country of real socialists.

Ah well, you're splitting hairs, whilst I take the Broad Brush approach.
Nazis were anti-Semitic, as are Socialist's /Communists /Whatever -ists in the UK (Corbynists and his merry mob, who Starmer backed as the leader, remember?)
Do you not find the parallel a little disturbing? You should

It is not hairsplitting to point out that people use words to give a false impression. East Germany called itself the German Democratic Republic, and we’re certainly not democratic. Is this concept too difficult for you to understand?

The fact that some people in the Labour Party are anti Semitic does not mean that socialists are any-Semitic. Some Tories are. Some LibDems are.

Now run along and try to learn something before trying to be clever. I’m not going to waste any more time on you.

Bore off with all your political chit chat… this is a bloody football forum, to discuss, rant, celebrate all things FOOTBALL and GTFC! How many bloody threads get dominated by utter drivel that has absolutely nothing to do with football!!
