So, here we go again.

A quick reminder of the rules for any new entrants. I will give you 6 fixtures each week and you must try to predict to correct final score. Usually it will be one game from the Prem and the 3 EFL Leagues, and 2 fixtures from The National League but this will alter on International breaks and Cup weeks. What you need to do is to post your predictions on this thread BUT YOU MUST ALSO PM ME YOUR PREDICTIONS TOO. I am sure nobody would but it just prevents any editing of posts and gives assurance to your fellow competitors that there can be nothing underhand going on.

You can "Nap" one of your selections each week. This is your most confident prediction and any points scored in this game will be doubled. You will score 3 points for an exact correct score prediction and 1 point for a correct result (ie home win, away win or draw) but not the correct scoreline. You must also add up the total number of goals that you have predicted in the 6 games and include a note of that too. Anyone who gets the total goals spot on will score 2 bonus points and there is 1 bonus point for being 1 out, either way.

If for any reason one or two games get cancelled, then I will deduct the total of goals predicted in those games from your total goals and take the total goals from the games that are actually played. If 3 or more games are postponed then that week will become null and void.

The league stage will last for 12 weeks and then the top 16 will go into a knockout stage.

Players who have expressed an interest to take part are...MALLYNER, CRUSTY OLE PIE, GOBBY, CMACKENZIE, RICHARD, WIZBIT, TWO LEFT FEET, WILLESDEN MARINER, PONNYFAN, GTFC71, GRIMSBY PETE, HAGRID, SONIK, POSH HARRY, ABDUL19, IVANO SANDWICH, FISHOUTOFWATER, VINNO69, THEVERA, NAWOO, IPSWIN, GARY ELTON, GRANTHAM MARINER, TAGG, DB, male private NALE, NORTHBANK MARINER, GRIMSBY2012, REX FANNIES, CONNECTICUT  MARINER, MIKE_D, BRIGG_MARINER, SWANNY, BIGNIC69, GY RANGER, SPATCHCOCK, HURSTOMARINER, WOZOFGRIMSBY, HESWALL MARINER and MASIRAH MARINER, so we should start with 40 entrants, the most we have ever had, although no doubt some will probably not send in there predictions.

Predictions must be received by me by 2:59pm on the Saturday of the game.
