Well we know they work, but the amount these websites take as a percentage in fees could be quite a bit, depending on how much was raised. I know with JustGiving, it worked out that they took about 4.8% of the final total.

Ballpark figure of £100,000 they would be taking nearly £5k of money that could be used elsewhere
