Anyone know why our game on Saturday is a 17:30 kick-off ?

Googled it and the journey time is only 3 hr 40 min, admittedly that will be in a car.

Presume it's too make travel easier for the squad. I know it's not a massive trek like Exeter, but can take hours depending on traffic.

Yep like the Orient game played at this time to avoid an overnight stay on Friday. Let’s hope it’s the same result.

Saving money on overnight stays. Colchester are doing the same when they visit us.

As a side issue noticed some clubs are switching midweek games back to 7.45pm kick offs if they can host fans, wouldn't be surprised if Southend play us at that time in 2 weeks time instead of 7pm
