If we do what we did against Cheltenham, when most, including me, expected us to lose convincingly, then we have more than a chance.

Seriously, if you want to know why there's such a disconnect between fan expectation and reality, just look at this thread.  Delusion after delusion after delusion.  3-0 Town, 4-1 Town, 2-2, 2-0.  We haven't won at Crawley in the League.  Ever.
Even with Bogle scoring a screamer.  Even after having had the lead.  Even under Holloway while on an OK run.  We will lose again. GET REAL.

We have a threadbare squad of hastily assembled loanees and non-league prospects, in the hope we ride out the season and teams finish below us by points deduction.  We're getting hammered every week and don't even know our best XI.  The keeper is mistake-prone and ineffective as a captain, our midfield is powderpuff and needs a ball to be 80-20 in their favour to have any chance of winning it, our strikers are low on confidence and two players have effectively been fired mid-season.

Now that said, we could win tonight and certainly have the talent to do it, as at Cheltenham and Orient, or the performance at Bolton.  That, and the fact that Holloway now is in no doubt as to who can be relied upon and who needs to come in/ship out, give me confidence we'll get one or two people in the window for us to finish lower-mid table.

As for tonight, I'm going with 3-0 to Crawley.

My Prediction:

Town will have a fair amount of possession but create precious little opportunities. The one decent chance they do get they will  squander.

At least one goal will be a soft one of our own undoing.

One Town red card.

I will turn it off early second half.

3-0 to Crawley (Hess to score at least 1)

Another predictable post match IH interview. He will say it's an unacceptable performance but it will be down to Covid, lack of fans, players he lost in May, lack of Govt support (it;s all bonkers Boris's fault) or support from Premier League........

Will say 10 players will be going and another 10 will come in in January 'cos he got it wrong. Mohsni may be among them but you know with contracts who knows not IH.

He will then offer to resign again if the fans want him to........(like a man who is looking for a way out)..
