I really don't understand this horror of playing in the Conference There's precious little difference between lower Div 4 where we are now and the Conference (Dagenham proved that the other week)

What is so great about being in the Football League anyway is it just a snobbish thing? Do we regard playing the Conference teams as being below the mighty Grimsby Town? Well if damn well isn't!

Boreham Wood or Harrogate, Wealdstone or Southend where's the difference

One thing is certain if we go bust Grimsby Town (2021) Ltd are going to be playing teams a lot lower than Conference level

No they didn’t; we proved it the other week!

What a load of moaning feckers.

Not so. If you paid to watch this game you could take issue with individual comments as 'all views matter'. Your preference to group us 'feckers' in one moaning post means you are in denial. The club's resources are not managed well so too many changes to lineups even allowing for injuries. Tactics and subs are baffling, commentators struggle to be polite about our naivety and the manager is unable to motivate some of his new signings.
The most impressive players are Pollock and Waterfall who were here already and who he is now overplaying. Without them we would be hammered every game.

I’m not arsed about the trophy or the result but one thing that tonight proves yet again is that Holloway has signed some absolute shite.

lost to a team in championship last yr & for 80% of the game you could see the differance in class , just do not come out and say we played well i can't see us scoring enough goals to win many games , find a place in every 11 for williams looks our only creative midfielder!!not ranting tonight because i expected it there top of lge 1 for a reason

They made 11 changes though so it is more of a worry than first glance.

Basically most of our first team against their reserves and we could not lay a glove on them.

Think our recruitment is looking shocking this season and how come we are in the middle of November and the team still looks way short of fitness?

I think lack of ability rather than fitness is the most worrying thing closely followed by Holloway kidding himself (and trying to kid us) that he can miraculously change that

Not really sure why there's talk of relegation - we've won 100% of our league games this month
