Not mentioned on here much but thought we could all do with some positivity.

They’ve just gone 5-0 up

Haven’t they gone up a level as well this year?

I am keen to see gtfc womens team progress. Mist go see them soon.

But at a time where lower league football is under serious financial threat, am a bit concerned to see  that the coverage of womens football, on the bbc in particular, is dwarfing coverage and analysis of lower league men's football.

U may be wrong but premier teams seem happy to invest in their womens teams, but not local lower league sides as they cant control them....

I welcome the growth and expansion of womens football, but my number one priority is gtfc of course.

And while I'm here, I watched the west ham womens programme on iplayer, the one with big Chris's son in the background of some episodes and found it disappointing lacking in analysis, insight or any questions... it was a missed opportunity.

For example, the director of the programme needed to ask the chief executive of west ham women, david Sullivan's young son, what qualities and qualifications if any, he had to bring to the table and whether his appointment in the place of a qualified experienced alternative was actually holding back the west ham side?

Seems a reasonable question.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
