Think we should be a bit more understanding
When the season closed down nobody knew when or if 2020 would resume footy. It hasn’t for Macclesfield
Therefore GTFC took a decision to lock down costs until it became clear that the season would resume. That certainly has left us underprepared for the season.
Also the plan to invest in untried, inexpensive talent from lower leagues will take time to be successful. Let’s hope it’s soon, but we need to be patient
Onwards and upwards.

Even top Premier League clubs like Manure, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal needed time to develop their squads before being good.
