Can't imagine both of them would've been started up top together much. Probably just needed that loan spell here where he wasn't a great success to give him the taste of what's required. After his opening day exploits, where I felt pretty smug having taken a price of 50/1 on him to top score in the division  , he really didn't do a lot at all.  Last appearance I remember is away at Doncaster where he was totally anonymous, but he was also deployed as a target man with Scott Vernon operating in the No 10 role that day....

He played probably 2 more games up front and then Hurst destroyed his confidence playing him out on the wing. Could tell there was a good player there though Back of the net

I didn't think Jackson would make it as far as he has in the game but seems like others knew what his best position is and how to use him so his confidence increased.
