I just received my order of a book, which is called 'Football Disco!... - The unbelievable world of football record covers' .

It's 423 pages of coloured pictures of football related 7" records with comments in german and english. For everybody who likes this kind of stuff I can highly recommend.

However by browsing the book, I found that the mighty Grimsby Town Football club has no mention at all (even one Lincoln record is mentioned ...). I know there are several Grimsby related vinyls around. I myself have three in the collection, which are:

1.) 'Mariners for Goal', Merger (1990)
2.) 'Up the mariners', Pisces (1978 )
3.)'See the Mariners (Down at Blundell Park)', Good News (1985)

I got in contact with the author of this book (he is from Switzerland) and he told me that GTFC vinyls are very hard to get or too expensive if popping up at ebay (arnd. GBP 25,00), but of course he has them on his wish list.

So I was wondering probably anyone on here has the one or the other 7" in spare or is willing to sell hers/his to this guy for a fair price, to make sure GTFC gets the deserved mention at least in Vol. 2 of the book or at least at the likewise very enjoyable website of the books author:    https://45football.com  (here you can find all the 7" covers of his collection and listen/download the mp3 of each song). Some are very odd and some are worth a listen.

If you are willing to sell to the author, you can contact him directly via his website. I love my GTFC memorabila, being so far away from Blundell Park, so presently I'm not willing to sell mine ... .
