I have now had the £150 refund from Crowdfunder for the money I donated to The Fans Of The Future campaign which has now collapsed.

I donated this money from the proceeds of a recent Fishy Buster, so I now have £150 in my bank account which I need to allocate.

I was thinking of adding it to the next Fishy Buster total but there will not be enough time for another game this season after the current one has finished so that will mean me hanging onto the money until next season.

The other thing I thought I would do was just give the £150 away at random. The way I would do this is to randomly choose a number between 1 and 1000 (which I would also let Grimrob know, so that there can be no accusations of a fix) obviously Rob wouldn't be allowed to enter and at the deadline give the money away to whoever got the correct number (or nearest to). I realise some posters probably have more than one login name and I don't want people making new login details just to enter, so I will restrict the entry to 1 per login detail who have over 100 posts to their name.

Alternatively I could do something totally different with this money if anyone has any better suggestions.

Over to you.

I think giving it to a good cause as it was already intended to give it away, so just choose another good cause. 😎

As we can't give it to the fans of the future, how about the players of the future.  Youth team ??

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

Les , there is a headline story in the telwag today about a couple of friends who are struggling with funeral arrangement payments, as their friend had died and they ran into red tape as they didn't know what to do for the best.
This for me would make a great donation?

Donate to a charity imo- either Cancer related or the Brain Tumour one you raise for Les. Initial fund was there to help others - not to win.

A lot of good suggestions on here. I will split the money as suggested but 3 ways as I think maybe 10 would make the donation quite small, although I appreciate that every penny counts.

What I plan to do is split the money 3 ways (ie £50 each) to The Matt Tees Just Givng Fund, GTFC Youth set up and also The British Deaf Association, as I know that this is a cause very close to Ollie's heart.

Will that be okay for everyone if I do that?

Put the £150 on Seaside Boy at 100-1 at Newmarket.  Then we could have more money to allocate.  This thread could get longer.

Ok I made all that up.

Les, I think that your 3 choices are exactly right.  Donations would be diluted if less than £50 individually.

Give it to charity Les

Your own Brain Tumour charity would be a good cause imho

I'm about to start on a sponsored swim again for Diabetes UK too if you fancy donating to that too?

Last year I had hundreds of views on here ( where I'd linked my JustGiving site ) but only a handful of people chose to donate.... one pound for every view would have boosted the amount I earned but maybe people see it as one of those things other people get ( though to be true, every ailment and illness can be viewed like that by the majority )

It's not my money at all mate. It's money raised by the posters on here who entered The Fishy Buster on that occasion.

Anyway it's all been allocated and donated now.

Am I too late then to ask if I can use it for two Scunny tickets on the black Market ?
My usually reliable source has screwed up 😕😕

Always thought you were a charity case 😉

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

To bl00dy right mate

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'
