Will be interesting to see if this 5 or 3 at the back......I would imagine 3 knowing Ollie's determination to get on the front foot. Must be a few tired legs or some carrying knocks to make 5 changes.

That’s the first real ‘what the fùck?’ moment of Ollie’s reign so far. Bold to make five changes and a formation change for a tough away game like this.

Has 3-5-2 been confirmed? I was struggling to work it out in truth. Ah well, that’s Colchester’s scouting report in the bin if nothing else.

Fingers crossed this works. Gut feel says this will either be a disaster or an absolute mastersroke.

Be interesting to see Tilley on the right and Vernham on the left, Hewitts not a bad right back(no Hendrie though) and think Pollock has been given a rest.
Hanson needed resting before his calf went again, not surprised Clifton's been left out completely.
If we get hammered Ollie's tactics will be questioned but in his judgement we must trust..
Go on Greeny, bang another one in like the Chelsea goal🤞🤞

Don’t forget his equaliser against the same opposition in the home game, let’s be honest other than the Chelsea goal not much else to remember about his goals but he will give 100% just not sure he can play that lone role but we are about to find out!!

We need to wake up at the back last 3 goals we’ve conceded all very similar.

Hate to say it but both goals conceded from Ohman not clearing his lines, waterfall is giving him pelters!!...
Still, think we are playing some good stuff, just need to get Matt Green off, unfortunately he's not playing well and offering nothing...
Get Hanson on to hold the ball up and give us an aerial threat in the box..

Looks to me if Macca spills the ball their players are faster to react than ours.

Love Macca to pieces but he is so so stuck to the spot far too often than being on his feet. Pulls off some wonder saves but wonder how many mistakes he makes

Some shaky defending at times in the wind, and the marking on Hewitt’s side has been very suspect at times (I’m not attributing all the blame to him - it’s everyone’s job to pick up).

Still, we’re trying to play some decent football, succeeding at times and making mistakes at others which have almost cost us on a couple of occasions. Still this is a transitional period and that’s to be expected.

I say we win this 4-3 with the wind favouring Town in the second half.

We've played some lovely one touch pass and move football scored a fantstic goal and given Colchester a run for their money in the first half. However, our defending has been shocking especially at set pieces. We look all over the place and outnumbered on the flanks especially. Garmston looks knackered all ready maybe he wasn't ready to start.

Playing some good football but too much keeper 2 defender to keeper to half way line to defender to keeper, . We need to move it much quicker when playing out from the back. 3 virtually identical goals in last 2 matches, we need to sort out this closing down our half clearances from corners, Garmston looking a bit out of sorts and Tilly a little too excitable, need Green replacing early on if we dont score quickly.

Tough debut for Garmston away from home with 5 changes. Green has no such excuses. Max needed to press and run at Colchester. Chas will tire.
