Great game to watch, felt a bit sorry for the lad that scored the OG at the beginning of the second half.

It looked like it was game over but they didn't let their heads drop and they fully deserved a money spinning replay at Anfield.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Fair play go the Shrews but that foul wasn’t in the box.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Fact of the day: the lad that scored that inexplicable own goal scored for Sunderland at BP in that game attended by about 43.

Anyway, cracking cup tie. Dodgy pen and think Liverpool should've had one in the first half but they earned their luck. That Laurent looked really good (possibly the first time Martin Keown has spoken sense).

Such a shame that the premiershite teams deem that rewards of a replay will not be granted next year to protect their little legs

I never thought the FA Cup would end up so low down in the pecking order by the elite:

"Jurgen Klopp confirms he won't manage Liverpool 'kids' in FA Cup replay against Shrewsbury."
