Any indication as to the impact of the offers? Will we top 6,000? Probably pushing it with only around 9 from Exeter.

Anything over 5000 will be a big improvement and a step in the right direction. There was 4500 for the Salford game, which was almost a thousand up on what the crowds had dropped to, so to get over 5 would be another big jump percentage wise.

I'll be disappointed if we don't get a crowd of around 5,786 with roughly around 87 from Exeter.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I know it’s a long way, but Exeter have a decent following and are 2nd... surely they’ll have three figures?

If all the positivity that Ollie has injected into this club doesn’t garner an attendance of over 6,000 for this one then I’d start to wonder if this club really DOES have any potential after all.

Be nice to get a gate over 5500 and then for the team to put on a right good show so all the transient fans keep on coming...
For some reason in past games when the gates have been bulging the performances have been distinctly lacking, almost like the players were rabbits trapped in the headlamps.
Hoping Holloway has gone into this lot and we smash Exeter all over the park, or at the very least give 110% and keep the feel good factor rolling..

Poor Exeter, wont know what hit them, a near full home attendance, the noise, the passion, the atmosphere. Fortress Blundell Park starts today.

Just hope today isn't a repeat of what usually happens when we have a big crowd

Exeter will bring around 150 I reckon.

I went for 5872 on the guess the crowd competition but I reckon it could well be a few hundred more than that.

Looks like biggest home fans attendance since the Jolley must win game v Notts.

Need to try and get most of them back again - especially with the Tuesday night games coming up; our Tuesday night crowds have been shocking because exiles often can't make them.

The recent excitement generated has shown how low we had fallen.  The interest now shows that we are not exactly a sleeping giant (or even a big fish) but we have great potential to support a winning team.  Especially if the football is attractive to watch as well.

It's around 8,350

Town v Scunthoroe in The FA Cup in 2013 was a sell out & the gate was 8,306

It’d be great if we had home fans in the Osmond too.

Why do the official capacity stats show 9052? I agree with peeler that it must be substantially lower, do the 9000 figure include seats that don't get sold (behind the dug outs, behind pillars in main) even so it wouldn't account for anything like that number.

If we can keep the interest with results, at Easter we might...going back we used to get really good crowds at Easter if we were doing well - 15k plus

Could it maybe include the temporary seats that COULD be located in the corners? It’s been some years, mind.....

With temporary seats in all 3 corners its over 10k - last 10k crowd was v Chelsea.

I'm not sure what 9052 is - maybe with temporary seat in one corner. Blundell Park in its current state will have a capacity of about 8600 including all restricted view seats - so 6,800 excluding the Osmond. We had a sell out v Lincoln in the conference - it was circa 7,900 crowd IIRC - at that time Lincoln couldn't fill an away end...

Gotta be 18/19 years since I last saw them! Saying that I did move abroad for work between 2004-2009

I think there will be a minimum of 6500 today.

Temp seats were used during Slade 1. Sat in them against (I think) Wycombe.

Friday night game with the added incentive of stub being able to get a ticket for Newcastle (or maybe Tottenham). Lost 1-0 as we always seemed to to them around that time.

I think the ‘sell out’ total is lower due to segregation and restricted view seats.

He was. I seem to remember Sergio Torres ran the game from the centre of the park. I was in those temp seats next to the pontoon.
