Pollock to wolves or Leicester is the only rumour I’ve heard. May explain not playing him recently.

Really annoys me when players are sold on before we've even had a chance to benefit from them or enjoy watching them especially when they go just to rot away in the reserves or under 23's

Yes but we could have done with those goals for a year and then sold him on

TBF, not sure Premier League 2 is the same standard as League 2, hence clubs often loaning players to lower league clubs..

I'd keep Ohman and lose Davis. Ohman may attract yellows but he is the best at defending crosses. Davis and Gibson don't link well. They have been a weakness in last two away games. If Pollock stays, we could swap Davis's wage for a left sided midfielder.
Whoever watched Vernam play for Chorley will have noted Alex Newby's playmaking skills. They need forwards so a loan swap with Green going to Chorley might work.

Defence isn't our problem. There are teams at the top end of the league who have conceded the same amount as us. I think Davis is a decent CB.

You are correct, Davis did not have a good day at Macc and I prefer Ohman and Pollock

I have seen him play and against Rochdale he ran their defence ragged and by far the best player on the park.27yrs old, 5'9" ,born in Scumthorpe Perhaps not the answer as who have we got that will feed him a decent pass. Scored 15 in 25 appearances ,Yeh I know it's National league North.

I’ve been told by someone within the team that Ohman and Ogbu are on silly money compared to the rest of the squad. Ring was too. Obviously the rest of the team are unhappy about this. Also, Jolley was hated by most of the players.

Well it's been openly mooted we've pushed the boat out to get Hanson and Green and by the sounds of it done similar with the Swedish contingent which by and large, hasn't come off.

The budget was blown it was said, but now Fents gonna acquire 200k odd of shares to help us get "1,2,3 bodies in in January"

It's obvious we spent big on certain players looking at the size of the squad. It's a risky strategy on many levels and can cause resentment in the camp, not to mention injuries,suspensions and loss of form can soon have you down to the bare bones. 4k a week was what i heard mentioned for Hanson. I suspect Green and one or two others will be on a good whack.

There were clearly divisions in the camp and it's no secret MJ was not liked by many. I think AL has gone some way to healing those rifts but i think it either needs a strong manager bringing in or some of the non performers moving out; especially the higher earners who aren't doing the biz. The latter option would take longer to achieve and would have to be done over time, which we don't really have as we are in danger and the fans are losing patience. Something has got to give.

A win today would be most welcome but that's far from certain.

I was told early in season that Green and Hanson are on a lot more than JF was happy with paying but he backed Jolley as he said they were needed.

Funny old game. I wass buzzing we 'pushed the boat out' for Green and Hanson and expected big things.. Now I'd probably rathee have Vernham with Wright and Ogbu either side!

Surely Waterfall has got to be our number one choice at CB, he’s been a solid performer all season for me, a great pro who adds plenty of grit, also is the only member of the current squad I wouldn’t want to meet down a dark alley 😂

Assuming nobody comes in to snatch Pollock in January I’d say CB is our strongest position at the moment!

For me we need a left back, another solid striker who can head a ball and not just jump backwards into opposing defenders, Green and Ogbu offer hardly anything in the air, we’ve got plenty of pace and ability up front with Wright, Rose & Vernam.

If Robson’s loan doesn’t extended I’d say we need one more good attacking midfielder, but I’d love him to stay, he’s had a good couple of games and I think when he’s got a bit of confidence behind him he’s a class act.
