played well in parts, Keeper pulls off a worldie from Thomas, Dennis missed a simple 1 on 1 then they go up the other end and score a few mins later.
2nd half we get on top after 10 mins and keeper again pulls off 2 great saves. Ohman goes off injured and it showed (see 2nd goal) as we hardly won a header at the back rest of the game but at least it was a positive substitution. They missed a couple and Macca pulls off a couple of saves and finally they score with a free header off a corner nearly centre of 6 yard box about 3 yrds off Maccas goaline no challenge from anyone. Played well and were easily at leadt equal to them if not better, we jusy cant finish. Wernam made a difference and Cardwell challenged well but our strikers all seemed too slow to react. Akheem added a bit of pace, best part was when he was held back right in fromnt of the linesman with having his shirt tugged and officials gave nothing . Ball went out of play a minute later and the ref ordered him off to have his shirt changed as it was virtually ripped in 2. I think I can see what Jollys trying to do but needs 3 or 4 better players. Dont want to seem like Im picking a on a player but again the weakest link is Ring, he is not a wingback, he is slow, easily knocked off the ball and will do anything to not have to kick it with his right foot, which makes defending against him so easy

Didn’t see this initially as there is another “Just Back” thread I’ve just posted on, but this more or less says what I saw

There’s some potential in the squad but we do need a few improvements if we are going to do anything going forward

Were you the lad chucked out at half time for smoking a massive spliff? There’s no way anyone could think we were the better team today unless they were under the influence of mind bending drugs.

Definitely the better team first half, but completely done over in the second half..
