I see Sky have Bury v Portsmouth in the EFL Trophy ( I assume they mean the Checkatrade) so my question is, are there not a North and south sections anymore.

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

Northern and Southern section teams are only segregated up to and including Round 3.

After that there is no segregation.

Thanks PP, so we could have played either Scunny or Lincoln at Wembley. Just have to go for it next season.
Also, I would rather watch 2 teams from league 1/2 that I can relate to than say Cardiff v Fulham from the premier.

The sad thing is that if Sunderland and Pompey reach the final it will probably be a sellout, which would somewhat misrepresent the sentiment of the average fan towards the competition.
