Not sure how much credence that account deserves, but Jostein mooted Astrit Ajdarević as a potential name.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrit_Ajdarevi%C4%87

28 years old, Albanian international (though was born in Kosovo and grew up in Sweden), and was playing in the Europa League last season with AEK. Those facts possibly make the whole idea sound a bit inprobable, but then again he is a free agent, has played in England several times before, spent two years with Ring at Orebro and rather oddly, appears to be a follower of Jordan Cook on Twitter. Stranger things have happened, I suppose.

I don't know what the players earn in Sweden compared to Town but I did notice that you can see a Gothenburg game for 150 Swedish Krona which is about £12. 50. I would have thought it would have been much higher with the reputed cost of living in Sweden being high.

Depends how much he would cost to loan, can’t see us spending too much on a player for a few months when we look relatively safe (touch wood) while a playoff push looks a bit unlikely

aziz is on this list of out of contract players

https://www.transfermarkt.co.u.....it=alle&yt0=Show

but i'm not sure how accurate the list is, as it seems to clash with some of the info held on other sites
some interesting possibilities amongst them though

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denni_Avdi%C4%87

here's an interesting one. 6'4 centre forward who has the same agent as our 2 swedes and who's out of contract. he's only £180k on transfer market which is way below what ludwig and sebastian are rated at

this guy ,again with the same agent, has a £225k value and has a decent scoring record. still currently playing in the swedish 2nd division

Probably a bad idea. Our fans have a bit of a bad reputation already and I don't think a day of raping and pillaging is likely to improve that.

Average wage per month in Swedish top flight Allsvenskan was in 2017 said to be 104 319 SEK (£8700), this according to Aftonbladet. A bit higher than in Norway, however the Swedes pay extremly 62% in taxes on their wage.
I would had thought Jolley wants Avdic, but big competition

No way is the tax 62%. I live in Sweden.
When I enter the tax table, the tax for such a high salary 104319 SEK it is 43% if you live in Stockholm. In Örebro where S Ring is from it is 46% so it  depends a little where you live in Sweden.

In U.K. 20% V.A.T. on just about everthing so brings our tax to 40% or 60% plus all the extra on petrol, fags, and booze etc.  Think we all need a rise

That would top the crowd funded Mariachi band!

Think it would cost a fair packet to transport it to Nottingham though. Unless our OAPs fancy rowing it around the coast under the command of Swin Forkbeard.
