Taken off another forum but how about if........ you couldn’t replace your manager until January and then you could anytime after that ?

Suppose it would put a bit of a halt on the manager merry go round.

That would mean Hurst would still be manager of Ipswich and they would be anchored at the bottom of the league.

We sacked him in Feb time (i think), so would have made no difference to us.
