Looks like somebody at the club does listen.

There was always going to be plenty of tickets available but I understand it left it a bit late for people having to get them then make travel arrangements. Now on general sale on the 23rd instead of 27th

Well you’re on a public forum on the Internet so I guess you do do social media, anyway that’s another point..... if you don’t want to click on the link  it basically says the club have brought forward the dates to buy tickets for the Crystal Palace game by 4-5 days giving more time to sort out transport

It's an improvement but it's still a frigging faff.

I hear what people are saying about encouraging people to attend fixtures at BP just before Christmas, but if you hang on a few more days you can get one anyway, so it's hardly a big incentive.

The stand holds more than 9000 people. Just get on with flogging the bloody tickets.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I’ve been thinking the same as a few people around me have assumed that we’ve been given the full stand.

I’ve not read or seen anything that suggests this and I very much doubt we’ll sell our initial allocation but all the same it’s going to be a cracker.

I assume it's down to how many turnstiles they need to open and steward they require.

I would have expected around 3k Town fan`s at this game ordinarily but have to say I haven`t known a buzz like this for a one off away game in a very long time? It sounds to me like we will have a huge support probably well in excess of 5k ?

I don't know why people are saying we will get the whole of the Arthur Wait stand. There are season ticket holders in this stand and the only part available to away supporters are sections R-S-T. even if it was Man. Utd visiting.

It's not that we've been given the whole stand, but the fact that CPFC aren't selling tickets to home fans in that whole side stand (so i've read), suggests they would be willing to give us plenty more tickets along the stand should we ask for more.

I know different clubs operate differently, but does a Palace season ticket include cup games? I doubt it, judging by some of the moaning about ticket pricing I saw on social media when prices were announced.

No, I'm sure ST's are for league games only.
At GTFC they are, aren't they, I'm not a ST holder so I don't know

If your a season ticket holder you usually still like to buy the seat you normally have for a cup game. I think there’s been some massive assumptions thinking we’ll be given the whole stand.

I know what you're saying, people probably do like to stick to their seat. But at the moment, they can't do that anyway, regardless of whether we get more tickets, because Palace aren't selling tickets in that stand to home fans. I think it's a fair assumption they're willing to give us much more of that stand. The home ends will be half empty so there'll be plenty of room for the STH's of that stand to go elsewhere, and they know when buying one that it is only for league games.

If we sell anything close to the original allocation I’ll be impressed.
My view is that season ticket holders should always get first dibs on stuff like this.
Personally I would have put two days aside for ST holders at two per season ticket.
That way they get to pick where in the stand they sit. After that, straight onto general sale knowing we can request more if required. Anyone going to any game only in order to get a stub is balmy.
There is no way we will sell all that Palace are prepared to give us.  I would love to be proved wrong on the last point, but it just ain’t gonna happen. See you there. UTM

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Is it going to be reserved seating though? I'm hoping they expand our location across so people Dont have to sit in the top 10 rows as according to away fans guide its poor viewing due to the camera gantry

The press release quite clearly stated "initial allocation" when referring to the 4100 odd ...hence that would indicate that more would be available if needed.
Cant see us doing more than 4000 but if it looked close to that from initial sales then the clubs would no doubt increase our allocation...nobody wants to lose money and nobody wants our support in their stands which i am pretty sure would happen if our London exiles could just pop into Selhurst and buy one down there if they didnt get chance to buy one here.
