I particularly liked the bit about " Punching above our weight "! FFS , they are only league 1. That's like admitting that League 2 (or lower) is their natural position - which, of course, we all know is true.

I think we and they know that without his money (or his wifes so I hear), they would be in a similar position to us. That is their natural position, we are towards the bottom end of league 2 due to having our statistically worst owner since 1878 and we are punching well below our natural weight.

Can't wait until our club wakes up and parity is restored. I hear the Scunny owners have stopped shovelling money in to falsely prop them up, is that right?

You would fear for them and survival if they did a Town/Lincoln and fell into Non League with their fanbase for a few years. I don`t recall even when Scunny have been doing well that they have had decent away followings or exceptional home gates.They now seem to be on or around the 3000 home fans which is less than GY and given the two Clubs respective past 15 years it`s quite incredible. I think the GY and Imps gates both dipped around 1k to the lowest point for Scunny that would be catastrophic.Would we take the p1ss

I would 'fear for them' about as much as they feared for us when we slipped through the net. Having lived near there I've noticed they show far more passion against GTFC than they do for supporting their own team. Odd but true.

That's true we dipped to around 2k ,could see them dipping below that 1,500.
