Mike Newell's first league game in charge of the Mariners was 10 years ago today.. a spirited 1-1 draw against Wycombe

So how much have things changed in the past decade - still just about keeping afloat I guess but not making any progress that I can see?

From stories I have heard 'spirited' would seem to be a word associated with his managerial career.

Ten Years After - Great group for those of a certain vintage, with one of the best English blues guitarists around Alvin Lee. Had their major British hit with Love Like a Man.

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.

Nottingham's finest (Well until Paper Lace came along)

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Nice.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
